En el contexto de Horizonte Europa se han establecido una serie de iniciativas como son las Misiones o los Partenariados que tendrán sus propios Programas de Trabajo y Agendas Estratégicas/Planes de Implementación. En el ámbito de la Salud están tanto la Misión Cáncer, recientemente lanzada, como los partenariados con colaboración público-público-privada que se están estableciendo: la Iniciativa de Salud Innovadora (IHI en sus siglas en inglés) y Salud Global EDCTP3.En los tres casos se están constituyendo grupos asesores cuyas convocatorias para autocandidatura están abiertas o a punto de abrirse. En estas convocatorias pueden auto-proponerse expertos que cumplan las condiciones indicadas y quieran contribuir activamente al codesarrollo e implementación de estas iniciativas.
Misión Cáncer: Abierta convocatoria de Expresiones de Interés para formar parte del Mission Board:
Objetivo: Asesorar a la Comisión Europea en la implementación de la Misión Cáncer. Detalle: Advise the Commission upon all or some of the following aspects: (a) the identification and design of one or more missions in the respective mission area according to the provisions and criteria set out in Article 8 of Regulation (EU) 2021/695; (b) content of work programmes and their revision as needed for achieving the mission objectives, with input from stakeholders and, where relevant, the general public; (c) the characteristics of project portfolios for missions; (d) adjustment actions, or termination, if appropriate, based on implementation assessments according to the defined objectives of the mission; (e) the selection of independent external experts in accordance with Article 49 of Regulation (EU) 2021/695, briefing of these independent external experts and evaluation criteria and their weighting; (f) framework conditions which help achieve the objectives of the mission; (g) communication, including on the performance and the achievements of the mission; (h) policy coordination between relevant actors at different levels, in particular regarding synergies with other Union policies; (i) key performance indicators. Within the frame of these tasks, the Mission Board shall focus more specifically on points (f), (g), (h) and (i).

Conflicto de Interés: Aplican conflictos de interés en caso de querer participar en las convocatorias de la misión, detallados en la convocatoria de EOI. Extracto de interés: Mission Board members or legal entities controlled by them cannot be applicants or participate in any manner in any proposals submitted for calls under the EU Missions part of the Horizon Europe work programme. If an organisation employing a Mission Board member does act as an applicant, mitigating measures should be established within the institution if necessary (e.g. "firewalls" between the departments involved in submitting proposals, and the Mission Board member). When an organisation employing a Mission Board member appears in a proposal in a missions call, the Mission Board member and the organisation may be asked by the Mission Manager to sign a declaration that the Mission Board member was not involved in the preparation of the proposal and did not provide privileged information to the applicants.

Innovative Health Initiative (IHI): Apertura en breve de candidaturas para el Innovation Panel de IHI.
Objetivo: Obtener aportaciones de un mayor número de partes interesadas en la salud y la investigación en una fase mucho más temprana del proceso de diseño de la convocatoria. Detalle: SIP is tasked with providing the Governing Board with science-based advice on a range of matters, including: a) IHIs draft work programmes, and in particular the draft call topics; b) updates to the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA); c) the planning of additional activities; d) the set-up of advisory groups focused on specific scientific priorities; e) synergies with other Horizon Europe activities, including other European partnerships, as well as other EU and national programmes.
Composición: Hasta 18 panelistas fijos + ad hoc si fueran necesarios. Perfiles: a) 2 representantes CE; b) 4 representantes socios industriales; c) 2 representantes del Grupo de Representantes de los Estados (SRG); d) 4 representantes comunidad científica y e) hasta otros 6 ponentes permanentes, que representan a la comunidad sanitaria en general, incluidos el sector público, los organismos reguladores, los pacientes y los usuarios finales en general.
Sólo se abriría convocatoria para los perfiles d) y e).

Global Health EDCTP3: Abierta convocatoria de Expresiones de Interés para formar parte del Comité Científico del EDCTP
Objetivo: Asesorar al EDCTP3. Detalle: (a) advise on the scientific priorities to be addressed in the work programmes including on scope of calls for proposals, in line with the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda and the Horizon Europe strategic planning; (b) advise on the scientific achievements to be described in the annual activity report; (c) suggest, in view of the progress of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda and individual actions, corrective measures or re-orientations to the governing board, where necessary; (d) provide independent advice and scientific analysis on specific issues as requested by the governing board, in particular as regards developments in adjacent sectors or to support the assessment of applications of potential associated members and contributing partners; (e) assist in the design of the strategic and scientific planning of the activities of the Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking; (f) advise on strategies to foster synergies and partnerships with all stakeholders; (g) contribute to the preparation of strategic and scientific documents relevant to the Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking, as required; (h) provide strategic and scientific advice to the Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking and ensure the successful completion of on-going projects; (i) identify strategic needs and priorities for accelerating the development of new or improved clinical interventions, including the required training, networking and capacity building to be undertaken to achieve those objectives; (j) review the landscape of poverty-related and neglected diseases to identify the Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertakings role in partnership with other stakeholders to accelerate the development or improvement of interventions against those diseases; (k) assess the state of global product development pathways and the critical path opportunities for future product development; (l) provide advice on the review of any calls for proposals and other programmes; (m)provide support and input on the monitoring and evaluation framework of the Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking, as well as in the monitoring of scientific outcomes and strategic impacts of the grants funded by the Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking;(n) advise, assist and participate in Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking working groups, stakeholder meetings, EDCTP Forum and other relevant events.
Composición: Entre 15 y 18 miembros + lista de reserva de hasta 30. Debe incluir experiencia de los países africanos.
