INCAR-CSIC is a research center in the Chemical Technology area of the CSIC, the largest public research institution in Spain. We are looking for candidates to apply for one of the 850 grants for research training (FPU) offered by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities in the 2019 call. The objective of these grants is to finance predoctoral contracts aimed at achieving the Doctorate degree.


The topic of the thesis will mainly focus on the field of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) applied to Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) technologies in order to evaluate their global environmental impact.

Requirements:
- Be in possession of a degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences or equivalent, obtained after January 1, 2016.
- Accreditation of a minimum weighted average grade in the academic record during the degree/engineering/master equal to or higher than 8.
- Be in possession of a master's degree or be enrolled in the 2019-2020 academic year in an official university master's degree giving access to a doctoral program in the 2020-2021 academic year.
