The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Nutrition (University of Navarra) seeks to fill an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in Pharmacology, to begin September 2020.

Terms and conditions:
This appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of a probationary period of up to two years. Following this period application for tenure will be possible depending on performance and mutual interest.
Salary will be according to the qualifications/experience of the candidate and Spanish academic grading system (assistant, associate, full professor).

Qualifications required
Candidates will have a PhD from an accredited institution in Biomedicine/Pharmacology related fields and a post-doctoral stage of at least two years in a non-Spanish University by the date of the commencement of the position.

Job description
Teaching. Candidate's teaching will be on graduate and postgraduate courses in Pharmacology. The successful candidate will also be expected to have native or near-native command of both English and Spanish. Experience of teaching at University level will be required. The candidate is expected to be genuinely committed to students and show a collaborative spirit with colleagues and administrative staff.
Research. The department will take into consideration her/his demonstrated research excellence in line with her/his academic qualification. Specifically, scientific publications, ability to lead research projects and to convene multidisciplinary and international teams will be considered. In addition, in line with our core values, commitment to investigate medical problems of significance with the higher standards of rigor and integrity is expected.
