An early stage researcher position is available to work in material appearance modeling at the Graphics and Imaging Lab (http://graphics.unizar.es/) in Universidad de Zaragoza (http://unizar.es/), Spain.
The project forms part of the Marie Curie Action – Innovative Training Network: DyViTo (https://dyvito.wordpress.com). The successful applicant will work in developing a perceptually-based material appearance representation for computer graphics that is suitable for rendering and editing, and takes into account dynamic aspects of material perception.
They will receive multi-disciplinary research training at the interface between computer graphics, imaging, and applied perception. Positions include research secondments at a number of partner institutions from the consortium, comprising nine different universities, two museums and four companies across Europe.

Skills/Qualifications

Applicants should have a Masters and/or First Degree, together with a strong academic track record, in a relevant area. They must satisfy the eligibility requirements that apply to all Marie Curie Early Stage Researchers. They cannot be in possession of a PhD qualification, and should not have resided in Spain for more than 12 months in the last 3 years before appointment.
