CuraBone is looking for 1 highly motivated Early Stage Researcher ESR (PhD Students) interested in working in an ambitious multidisciplinary project to work in Materialise and Unizar. All applicants will be employed under a local employment contract for a maximum of 3 years, compatible with national and regional legislation and following the guidelines provided by the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, including salaries with adequate and equitable social security benefits.

A career development plan will be prepared for each fellow in accordance with his/her supervisor and will include training, planned secondments and outreach activities in partner institutions of the network. The ESR fellows are supposed to complete their PhD thesis by the end of the 3rd year of their employment. Offer Requirements

To apply for one of the vacancies please, check the eligibility criteria below. According to MSCA rules, all applicants must:

     Not be in possession of a doctorate/PhD degree and should have less than 4 years of research experience (starting at the date of obtaining the master’s degree).
    At the time of selection by the host institution, the candidate may not have resided or carried out his/her main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of their host institution for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to their recruitment under the project.
    For Unizar’s Biomedical Engineering PhD, it is required 300 Graduate ECTS (of which at least 60 ECTS must of Master`s degree)

    Applicants should have a Master’s degree in engineering (biomedical, mechanical, mathematical or computer sciences) or equivalent.
    You are passionate about innovation in medical 3D printing and have a strong interest in 3D biomechanical modelling (FEA, Musculo-Skeletal Modelling, Bone modelling). Prior experience in any of these fields is a strong plus.
    You a born problem solver with strong analytical skills and you are ability to work independently with a proactive yet critical mind-set.
    You speak Python or are willing to learn this software language. In addition, you’re also fluent in English, both written and verbal.
    Experience on cell culture and cell experiments is highly valued.
    High mobility for international training in Spain, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
    Interest in economic/business aspects of industrial research and product development.
